We are seeking your support to complete a historic project that will honor the bravery and sacrifice of American soldiers. The Asymmetric Operations Group (AOG) is actively fundraising for the Mogadishu Memorial, set to be installed at the Army Heritage Center in Carlisle, PA.

This powerful memorial commemorates the courageous soldiers who fought in the Battle of Mogadishu, a conflict brought to public attention by the movie Black Hawk Down. At its heart stands a statue of Medal of Honor recipient Randy Shughart, placed on a granite base engraved with the names of fallen servicemen from the 160th Aviation Regiment, 3rd Ranger Battalion, 10th Mountain Division, and 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta.

We are currently $60,000 away from our goal, with the funds required to establish a trust for the memorial’s future maintenance. Any contribution—large or small—will help bring this tribute to life and preserve the legacy of the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice on October 3, 1993.

How to Donate:

  • Online: Donations can be made via the AOG Fundraising Site, PayPal, Square
  • By Mail: Send checks to Asymmetric Operations Group, 257 N 24th St, Camp Hill, PA 17011.

All donations are tax-deductible. Your $25 donation or more will contribute significantly to ensuring these heroes are never forgotten. Thank you for supporting this lasting tribute to our fallen soldiers.
